Got a question on rule clarification, comments on rule enforcements or some memorable NHL stories? Kerry wants to answer your emails at cmonref@tsn. P.J. Williams Jersey .ca. Hi Kerry, This may sound like a silly question but Im watching Anaheim and Vancouver Monday night and during a stoppage of play, I noticed that when the linesman Brian Mach No. 78, had gone over to help Eddie Lack with a small equipment issue with his chest protector - his fight strap was undone! I thought jerseys must be "tied down" properly at all times. Does this rule not apply to goalies? Thanks for all you do - the best to ever ref the NHL!Rachel Tilton Hi Rachel: Thank you for the kudos. All players of each team must be dressed uniformly with approved design and color of their team uniform. Altered uniforms of any kind, i.e. Velcro inserts, over-sized jerseys, altered collars, etc., will not be permitted. Any player or goalkeeper not complying with this rule shall not be permitted to participate in the game. A players jersey must be "tied down" properly at all times as per rule 9.3. It is very difficult to detect if a player is not properly tied down unless he becomes involved in an altercation. The only time that a penalty applies to a player not properly tied down is if he engages in a fight and his jersey is removed completely off his torso, in which case a game misconduct is assessed (46.13). The exception to this application is when the opponent has been identified as the instigator; a game misconduct shall not be assessed regardless as to whether or not the player (non-instigator) was properly tied down. I have seen players who do not expect to fight (typically skilled players) participate in the game without tying down their jerseys. While this makes little sense, it their prerogative as it is next to impossible for the referee to detect (goalkeeper included). Specific to goalkeepers no inserts or additions are to be added to the standard goalkeeper-cut jersey as produced by the manufacturer unless approved by the League. In addition goalkeepers are not allowed any "tying down" of the sweater at the wrists if it creates a tension across the jersey such that a "webbing effect" is created in the armpit area. No other tie downs are allowed that create a webbing effect." The length of a jersey is illegal if it covers any area between the goalkeepers legs. In short, any excessive material that would provide the goalkeeper with added coverage of his net is not permitted. Unless a goalkeeper intended to fight during the game he would likely not snap the tab on the back of pants. Ken Crawley Jersey . -- Syracuse was dangerously close to letting another less talented opponent pull off the upset when C. Adrian Peterson Jersey . The Brazilian-born strikers brace drew him level with Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo as the leagues leading scorers with 17 goals apiece through 16 rounds. "The important thing is to help the team win, not the goals," Diego Costa said. After a first half dominated by defence, Atletico pressed Valencia into its area and Diego Costa did the rest. http://www.officialsaintslockroom.com/trey-hendrickson-saints-jersey-55/ . 25 against Miami. Hillis left Browns Stadium about two hours before kickoff, a decision that has led to speculation he was upset over ongoing negotiations with the club on a contract extension.MILAN, Italy -- AC Milan lost 1-0 at Udinese in the Italian league on Saturday and failed to boost its confidence for the Champions League clash at Atletico Madrid next week. Antonio Di Natale scored the only goal in the 66th minute, finishing off a great team move by Udinese. "Were disappointed," Milan coach Clarence Seedorf said. "Youre never happy when you lose and certainly more so when certain mistakes could have been avoided. The lads tried tonight and gave what they could but we need to be more clinical in front of goal. "We have to keep in mind our good performances and not forget all that we have done well up until now. Its a football match on Tuesday and we can win it, we are convinced. Everyone saw the first leg and we have to pick up from that performance." Milan remained provisionally 10th after its second successive league defeat. Udinese moved to 13th with its first win in four matches. "Its a fantastic victory against a great club like Milan," Di Natale said. Being International Womens Day, he dedicated the win to his wife "and all the women." Milan enjoyed the best opportunities in the first half and forced teenage goalkeeper Simone Scuffet into several fine saves, notably denying Giampaolo Pazzini from close range with one hand. Cristian Zapata should have given Milan the lead moments earlier but headed a corner wide after being left unmarked at the far post. Thomas Morstead Jersey. Scuffet also made a superb diving save shortly after halftime to parry Robinhos header from point-blank range. Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati -- who made his league debut when Scuffet was only two years old -- pulled off a brilliant save to deny Roberto Pereyra early on. Udinese improved after the break and took the lead when Pereyra released Bruno Fernandes, who crossed for an unmarked Di Natale to slot home. Substitute Mario Balotelli blasted over the bar shortly afterwards for Milan, while Allan curled an effort narrowly past the top corner for Udinese. Also, relegation-threatened Catania drew 1-1 at home to 10-man Cagliari. Matias Vecino broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute but Catania levelled nine minutes later when Gonzalo Bergessio nodded in Francesco Lodis curling free kick at the far post. Cagliari had to play out the final 17 minutes a man down after Danilo Avelar was sent off following a second booking. Catania almost made the most of the numerical advantage but hit the woodwork twice in quick succession as first Cristiano Biraghis effort crashed off the post before Alexis Rolin headed off the bar. Catania remained second to last. Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale NFL Jerseys Jerseys From China Wholesale NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys ' ' '
